Minot State women’s hockey team announces its weekend games have been canceled

MINOT, N.D. – Coming off a dominating effort on the road in Colorado, the Minot State women's hockey team will have to wait a little bit longer to return to action as their home series this weekend has been canceled.

The Beavers (5-0-0 overall) were scheduled to host Lindenwood University in games on Saturday and Sunday, but the visiting Lions were forced to cancel the trip. No makeup dates are scheduled.

While the Minot State women will not play this weekend, the Minot State men's team will hit the ice for a pair of games hosting Liberty University on Friday and Saturday, Oct. 15-16, at Maysa Arena. Puck drops at 7 p.m. on Friday, and at 7:30 p.m. on Saturday. CLICK HERE TO BUY TICKETS

That means the next games for the Minot State women will be on Thursday, Oct. 21, when they visit Midland in Nebraska, then Adrian College in Nebraska on Friday, Oct. 22.

The next home games at Maysa Arena for the Beaver women's hockey team will be a home-and-home weekend with Concordia (Minn.), with the Beavers hosting the Cobbers on Saturday, Oct. 30, at  4 p.m., then in November they host the University of Minnesota on Saturday and Sunday, Nov. 13-14.
