MINOT, ND --The Minot State volleyball team needed only three sets (25-17, 25-23, 25-18) to beat the Minnesota-Crookston Golden Eagles Friday at home at MSU Dome.
The victory boosted the Beavers' record to 1-17 overall and 1-11 in NSIC action.
The Beavers attack was paced by Roxy King, who finished with 12 kills on the day while accumulating a hitting percentage of .3, and by Kylie Koontz, who had 11 while hitting .5. Defensively, MISU had two players reach double figures in digs as Sophia Peterson had 12 and Taylor Wyatt had 11.
