How It Happened
SET 1 | The Beavers fell behind early, losing a tough first set 25-7. Minot State trailed by as many as 18 points as Upper Iowa grabbed the advantage for good at 3-2 in a set that was tied up two times before the Peacocks took control.
SET 2 | Minot State then dropped set two 25-6 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. The Beavers lost the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Upper Iowa finished the sweep with a set-three win. The Beavers fell in a tough set 25-17. Minot State trailed by as many as nine points as Upper Iowa grabbed the advantage for good at 8-7 in a set that was tied up six times before the Peacocks took over the lead.
