MANKATO, MN --The Minot State volleyball team could not beat a potent Mavericks offense Saturday on the road falling to Minnesota State in three sets (14-25, 12-25, 12-25).
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 0-7 overall and 0-2 in NSIC play.
Berra Tok finished with five kills on the day to lead the Beavers attack while finishing with a hitting percentage of .500. MISU got six digs from Tok to lead them defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Beavers found themselves in an early hole, dropping a tough first set 25-14. Minot State trailed by as many as 13 points as Minnesota State never surrendered the lead.
SET 2 | Minot State then dropped the second set 25-12 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. The Beavers fell behind on the first point and never clawed back into the lead before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Minot State could not win the third set and was swept by Minnesota State. The Beavers dropped the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before falling in the set 25-12.
