BISMARCK, ND --The Minot State volleyball team could not out-play a potent Marauders offense Tuesday on the road falling to Mary in three sets (18-25, 19-25, 17-25).
The non-conference loss dropped Minot State to 0-11 on the season.
Alexandra Koontz finished with eight kills on the day to lead the Beavers attack. MISU got five digs from Tea Boeckel to lead them defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Beavers found themselves in an early hole, dropping a tough first set 25-18. Minot State trailed by as many as eight points as Mary grabbed the advantage for good at 2-1 in a set that was tied up just once before the Marauders took control.
SET 2 | Minot State then dropped the second set 25-19 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. Minot State trailed by as many as six points as Mary grabbed the advantage for good at 19-18 in a set that was knotted up four times before the Marauders took over in the second half of the stanza.
SET 3 | Mary finished the sweep with a set-three win. The Beavers dropped the first point and never clawed back into the lead before falling in the set 25-17.
