SAINT PAUL, MN --The Minot State volleyball team fell to the Concordia-Saint Paul Golden Bears in straight sets (9-25, 14-25, 14-25) Saturday on the road at Gangelhoff Center.
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 0-15 overall and 0-8 in NSIC action.
Alexandra Koontz finished with six kills on the day to lead the Beavers attack. Minot State got five digs from Lucia Mercolini to lead them defensively.

SET 1 | The Beavers found themselves in an early hole, losing a tough first set 25-9. Minot State trailed by as many as 16 points as Concordia-Saint Paul never gave up the lead in the set.
SET 2 | Minot State dropped the second set 25-14, digging a 2-0 deficit in the match. Minot State trailed by as many as 11 points as Concordia-Saint Paul grabbed the advantage for good at 3-2 in a set that was tied up just once before the Golden Bears took over the lead.
SET 3 | Concordia-Saint Paul finished the sweep with a third-set victory. The Beavers lost the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before losing the set 25-14.
