Beavers clip Eagles on senior day in 5-0 stomping

MINOT, N.D.-- Minot State held Minnesota-Crookston scoreless and ran away with a 5-0 shutout win Friday, Oct. 21st at the Herb Parker Stadium.

The victory improved the Beavers record to 8-2-6 overall and 8-1-3 in NSIC play.

How it Happened

Minot State took a 1-0 lead when Rebecca Storr recorded her first goal of the season in the seventh minute.

The Beavers extended their lead to 2-0 on a goal from Mila Robichon—her third goal of the season—in the 25th minute, assisted by Anabel Noches.

Minot State expanded its lead to 3-0 on Chloe Allan's 50th-minute goal, her fifth of the season. Emma Monsen assisted the goal.

The Beavers went on top 4-0 with a 71st-minute goal from Jordan Tenpas, her first career goal.

Minot State took a 5-0 advantage on Maddy St. Yves' first goal of the season in the 75th minute. 

With the victory tonight, the Beavers have clinched a spot in the 2022 NSIC Women's Soccer tournament.
