Miller-Levi snags 2 interceptions for Beavers in loss to Concordia, St. Paul

ST. PAUL, Minn. – Knylen Miller-Levi picked of a pair of passes to set the single-season interception record, but it wasn't enough for the Beavers who dropped their season final 19-11 on the road to host Concordia, St. Paul on Saturday in NSIC play.

Concordia, St. Paul improved to 1-10 on the year while Minot State fell to 1-10 overall.

Miller-Levi intercepted Conner Cordts on the Golden Bears third offensive play, and again right before the end of the first half giving him six interceptions on the season and breaking the old NCAA Division II-era record of five interceptions in a season held by Kiante Goudeau (2017).

Ali Mohamed led all Minot State rushers with 33 yards in the contest. Mohamed also added 36 receiving yards. Ben Bolinske added 16 yards on the ground, averaging 5.3 yards per carry.

Erik Palmquist reeled in seven catches for 48 yards.

In addition to Miller-Levi's two interceptions, the defender had four tackles and 1.0 TFL to lead the Minot State defensively. Jordan Sanford added six tackles, 2.5 TFL, and two sacks and Carson Cayko tacked on 15 tackles, 2.5 TFL, and one sack.
