DENVER, Colo. -- Sophomore Mark Ossanna and senior Drew Behling each hit two home runs but the Minot State Beavers still fell to the Regis (COlo.) Rangers 18-17 on Thursday.
Behling added a walk and five RBIs to his two homer day and Ossanna supplemented his own two big flies with a double and three RBIs for the Beavers (3-2 overall). Senior Blake Gallagher also helped out for Minot State, putting together three hits in five trips to the plate while adding a home run and an RBI.
The two teams meet again Friday in Colorado in the second game of their four-game series with first-pitch scheduled for 11 a.m. (CT).
