MINOT, N.D. - Senior Trinity Valentine was dealing on Sunday, throwing a two-hit shutout to lead the Minot State Beavers over the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles 3-0.
Valentine (2-0) went the distance for Minot State (4-0 overall), giving up two hits, walking none and striking out 10.
At the plate, the Beavers were led by senior Jamie Odlum who went 1-for-3 on the day with an RBI. Senior Alina Gonzalez put together a standout day at the dish as well, going 1-for-3 with an RBI.
