Odlum hit a home run, Reegan Floyd allowed just 1 run in four innings work, and Trinity Valentine earned her first save of the season in a 7-2 win over St. Thomas Aquinas (N.Y.) to start the day, then Morrison and Penner each hit a 2-run home run, and Zoya Robbins allowed 1 run in a complete-game, six-inning 9-1 win over Post (Conn.) to cap action for the Beavers on Monday.

NEW HAVEN, Fla. --The Minot State Beavers took a 5-0 lead in the first inning and never trailed from there on the way to a 7-2 victory over the Saint Thomas Aquinas Spartans on Monday.
Freshman Reegan Floyd (5-0) got the win for Minot State (13-3). The right-hander went four innings, giving up one run on four hits, allowing one walk and striking out one. Senior Trinity Valentine also pitched well, going three shutout innings while allowing one hit, walking three and striking out three.
Senior Jamie Odlum led the way offensively for the Beavers, going 2-for-3 in the ballgame with a home run and an RBI.
