JOSEPH, MN --Â The Minot State Beavers rallied to score four in the seventh inning and walked it off on a single off the bat of freshman Abbey Kelley to pick up the 6-5 win over the Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagles on Thursday to start an neutral-site NSIC doubleheader. The Golden Eagles took the second game, 3-0.
Sophomore Jasmine Blizzard (6-2) got the win out of the bullpen for Minot State (27-11 overall, 8-6 NSIC). The right-hander went two shutout innings without giving up a hit, walked and struck out one.
At the plate, the Beavers were led by junior Kilee Fehd, who went 2-for-4 on the day with two doubles and an RBI. Freshman Abby Lohse put together a noteworthy performance as well, going 2-for-3 with two RBI. Kelley also chipped in for Minot State, putting together two hits in four trips to the plate while adding an RBI.

ST. JOSEPH, MN -- The Minot State Beavers were not able to record a run against Minnesota Crookston sophomore pitcher Thayda Houser in Thursday's second game despite totaling six hits as the Beavers were shut out 3-0 by the Golden Eagles.
Freshman Reegan Floyd (8-4) got the ball to start for Minot State and took the loss. The right-hander went six innings, giving up three runs, all of them earned, on six hits, allowing one walk and struck out seven. Sophomore Jasmine Blizzard came out of the bullpen and threw one scoreless inning, allowing no hits.
Junior Lenora Watson led the way offensively for the Beavers, going 1-for-3 in the ballgame with a double. Junior Zoya Robbins compiled a standout day at the dish as well, going 1-for-3 with a double. Freshman Abbey Kelley also chipped in, going 2-for-3 for Minot State.
