MINOT, ND --Paige Ammerman registered a triple-double with 10 kills, 13 digs, and 14 assists, but the Minot State volleyball team lost to the Mary Marauders 3-2 (22-25, 25-18, 25-11, 16-25, 11-15) Tuesday at home at the MSU Dome.
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 2-16 overall and 1-9 in NSIC action.
The Beavers were led by a double-double from Ammerman, who registered 10 kills and 13 digs on the day. Emily Kotelnikoff also added 10 kills to help the attack. On the defensive end, Kendal Braun chipped in for with 25 digs to go with four blocks from Bailee Brommenschenkel. Jaina Macaulay was distributing all match, as she recorded 23 assists for the Beavers.

SET 1 | The Beavers rallied from a seven-point 15-8 deficit, but Mary hung on to win the first set 25-22.
SET 2 | Minot State tied the match at 1-1 following a 25-18 victory in set two. The Beavers took a 1-0 lead and never looked back in the set to earn the victory. Minot State opened up as much as a 10-point lead at 15-5 before closing out the set.
SET 3 | Minot State took a 2-1 match lead after defeating the Marauders in the third set. The Beavers led from the first point on in the set to earn a 25-11 victory. Minot State ended on a high note, claiming its biggest lead, 14 points, to close out the set. The Minot State offense also got a boost from four aces in the stanza.
SET 4 | Minot State couldn't keep the win streak going, as the Marauders forced a fifth set with a 25-16 fourth-set win. The Beavers trailed by as many as 11 points as Mary grabbed the advantage for good at 3-2 and Minot State couldn't recover in a set that was tied up two times before the Marauders took over.
SET 5 | Minot State took a lead of two sets to one before falling in the final two sets, including a 15-11 loss in the fifth set. The Beavers had a lead early in the set at 1-0 before Mary took over.
