MINOT, ND --The Minot State volleyball team could not overcome a potent Vikings offense Saturday at home losing to Augustana (SD) in straight sets (14-25, 11-25, 21-25).

The loss dropped Minot State's record to 2-20 overall and 1-11 in NSIC play.

Paige Ammerman finished with six kills on the day to lead the Beavers attack. got 13 digs from Kendal Braun to lead them defensively.

SET 2 | Minot State then dropped set two 25-11 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. The Beavers lost the first point and never clawed back into the lead before dropping the set.

SET 3 | Minot State could not win the third set and was swept by Augustana (SD). The Beavers fell in a back-and-forth battle, losing 25-21 in a set that featured seven lead changes and was tied 12 times. Neither team had a lead of more than four points along the way.
