MINOT, N.D. – Area youth can hone their athletic skills in a variety of camps hosted by the Minot State athletic teams this summer, ranging from football and soccer to boys and girls basketball to volleyball.

Camps are open to a variety of ages, as well, from 3-years-old up to student-athletes who will be high school seniors starting in the fall of 2023.

Camps begin June 5 and run through the summer into early August. Go to www.minotstatecamps.com to register for any of the camps listed or click on the camp name.

Here is a look at the variety of camps currently being offered:

Football
Minot State Football Big Man Camp - June 10 or July 16

The Minot State football team is hosting this camp for players entering their freshman to senior year of high school. Cost is $80 per player.

Check-in is at 4:30 pm for the Saturday, June 10 camp, which kicks off at 5:30 pm at First Western Bank Field at Herb Parker Stadium on the Minot State campus. Check-in is at 2:30 pm for the Sunday, July 16, camp which begins at 3:30 pm.

Minot State Football Skills Camp - July 16
The Minot State football team is hosting this camp for players entering their freshman to senior year of high school. Cost is $80 per player.

Check-in is at 10 am on Sunday, July 16, and the camps kicks off at 11 am at First Western Bank Field at Herb Parker Stadium on the Minot State campus.

Minot State Football 7-on-7 Tournament – June 10
The Minot State football team is hosting a 7-on-7 Tournament for high-school teams all day on Saturday, June 10. Cost is $400 per team.

Check-in is at 10 am on Saturday, June 10, and the first game kicks off at 11 am at First Western Bank Field at Herb Parker Stadium on the Minot State campus.

Each team is guaranteed to play three games.

Soccer
Minot State Youth Summer Soccer Camp - June 5-8 or July 31-August 3

The Minot State soccer teams is hosting two camps for kids of all skill levels, ages 5- to 14-years-old to teach the basic skills and techniques, as well as play mini-soccer tournaments every day. Cost is $100 per player.

The first camp will be Monday, June 5, thru Thursday, June 8, and second camp will be Monday, July 31, thru Thursday, August 3.

Both camps will be held from 9 am to noon each day at First Western Bank Field at Herb Parker Stadium on the Minot State campus.

Volleyball
Junior High All Skills - June 22
The Minot State volleyball team is hosting a fun-filled day of skill development and individualized coaching for players ages 11 to 14, which includes the techniques of passing, defense, setting, hitting, serving, and blocking. Cost is $100 per player.

Registration closes Tuesday, June 20, at 8 pm.

Junior High/Freshmen Team Camp - June 24
The Minot State volleyball team is hosting a 1-day, pool-play tournament for teams with players ages 11- to 15-years-old on Saturday, June 24, at the MSU Dome on the Minot State campus.

Cost is $50 per player. (CHOOSE THE QUANTITY NUMBER BASED ON HOW MANY PLAYERS YOU ARE REGISTERING.)

This is a perfect chance to get the younger teams of your program quality playing time. Matches will be best 2-of-3 (cap at 27 and 17 for game 3) or 50-minute time limit. Teams will get a 10-minute pre-match warmup.

All teams will receive Minot State volleyball shirts at check-in. Tournament times and schedule TBD depending on registration.

Little Spiker - June 26
The Minot State volleyball team is hosting a fun-filled hour to introduce the basic skills of volleyball for kids ages 3- to 5-years-old on Monday, June 26. Little Spikers will have one-on-one coaching time with Minot State volleyball players.

Cost is $20 per player.

Check-in starts at 5:45 pm at the MSU Dome on the Minot State campus, and the camp will run from 6-7 pm. Each camper receives a t-shirt at check-in.

Registration closes Friday, June 23, at 8 pm.

Elementary All Skills - June 26
The Minot State volleyball team is hosting a fun-filled day of skill development and individualized coaching for kids ages 6= to 10-years old on Monday, June 26. This camp will include the techniques of passing, defense, setting, hitting, serving, and blocking. This camp is a great way to increase your knowledge of volleyball.

Cost is $60 per player, and players will be divided onto 2 courts based on age groups.

Check-in starts at 12:30 pm at the MSU Dome on the Minot State campus, and the camp runs from 1-4 pm. Each camper receives a t-shirt at check-in.

Registration closes Friday, June 23, at 8 pm.

Varsity Team Camp - July 7
The Minot State volleyball team is hosting a highly competitive one-day pool play tournament against teams in our region with players ages 14- to 18-years-old on Saturday, July 8, at the MSU Dome on the Minot State campus.

Elite All Skills - July 6
The Minot State volleyball team is hosting an elite skill development camp on Thursday, July 6, for players ages 14- to 18-years-old. The camp focuses on player development in the areas of serving, passing, defense, setting, hitting, and blocking. This camp will include extensive individualized instruction from the Minot State coaching staff. The Elite All Skills Camp will help increase volleyball knowledge and will prepare athletes for their upcoming seasons.

Cost is $120 per player.

The camp will be Thursday, July 6, and runs in two sessions, from 9 am to noon and after a lunch break, from 1-4 pm. Check-in begins at 8:15 am at the MSU Dome on the Minot State campus. Each camper receives a t-shirt at check-in.

Men's Basketball
MSU Men's Basketball Skills Camp - June 11-12

The Minot State men's basketball team is hosting a skills camp for boys entering 6^th thru 12^th grades in the fall of 2023. The camp, which will be Sunday and Monday, June 11-12, is designed to provide individual skill instruction, competition, and fun all in a college environment.

There will be a resident (overnight on campus) option for $150 per player, and a commuter option (non-overnight) for $120 per player.

Check-in is Sunday, June 11, from 5-5:30 pm at the MSU Dome on the Minot State campus. Check-out is Monday, June 12 at 9 pm. Each camper receives a camp t-shirt at check-out.

Resident campers also receive 3 meals and housing for Sunday night, June 11, while commuter campers receive 2 meals.

Maximize your camp experience and register for both of the Minot State men's basketball skills and competition camps, held Sunday, June 11 thru Wednesday, June 14. Cost is $290 for resident (3 nights stay on campus) and $215 for commuter (no overnights).

Check-in is Sunday, June 11, from 5-5:30 pm at the MSU Dome on the Minot State campus, with the skills camp from 5:30-9 pm on Sunday, June 11, and from 9 am to 9 pm on Monday, June 12. The competition camp will be Tuesday, June 13, from 9 am to 9 pm, and Wednesday, June, 14, from 9 am to noon.

Check-out is Wednesday, June 14, at noon. All campers will receive a camp t-shirt at check-out.

Resident campers receive 3 nights housing on-campus and 7 meals. Commuters receive 4 meals.

MSU Men's Basketball Competition Camp (Resident) - June 13-14

Girls Basketball FUNdamental Camp for Kindergarten thru 2nd grade - June 7-9
The Minot State women's basketball team is hosting this camp that focuses on sharpening fundamentals in a fun and interactive environment for kids entering kindergarten thru 2nd grade in the fall of 2023. This is a great opportunity to learn from experienced college athletes and coaches. Along with the fundamentals, campers will get a chance to compete against one another in various games and basketball activities.

Cost is $85 per player.

The camp will be Wednesday through Friday, June 7-9, from 9 am to noon at the MSU Dome on the Minot State campus.
All campers will receive a camp basketball and a t-shirt.



Girls Basketball FUNdamental Camp for 3rd thru 8th grade - June 7-9
The Minot State women's basketball team is hosting this camp that focuses on sharpening fundamentals in a fun and interactive environment for kids entering 3rd thru 8th grade in the fall of 2023. This is a great opportunity to learn from experienced college athletes and coaches. Along with the fundamentals, campers will get a chance to compete against one another in various games and basketball activities.

Cost is $145 per player.

The camp will be Wednesday through Friday, June 7-9, from 9 am to 4 pm at the MSU Dome on the Minot State campus.

All campers will receive lunch each day along with a camp basketball and a t-shirt.

MSU Boys and Girls Mini Camp for Kindergarten thru 2nd grade - July 10-13
The Minot State women's basketball team is hosting this camp that is designed to provide individual skill instruction, competition, and fun for boys and girls entering kindergarten thru 2nd grade in the fall of 2023.

Cost is $115 per player.

The camp will be Monday through Thursday, July 10-13, from 9 am to noon at the MSU Dome, Swain Hall, and the Minot State Wellness Center on the Minot State campus.

All campers will receive a camp basketball and a t-shirt at the conclusion of the camp.
 
MSU Boys and Girls Mini Camp for 3rd thru 6th grade - July 10-13
The Minot State women's basketball team is hosting this camp that is designed to provide individual skill instruction, competition, and fun for boys and girls entering 3rd thru 6th grade in the fall of 2023.

Cost is $190 per player.

The camp will be Monday through Thursday, July 10-13, from 9 am to 4 pm at the MSU Dome, Swain Hall, and the Minot State Wellness Center on the Minot State campus.

All campers will receive lunch each day along with a camp basketball and a t-shirt at the conclusion of the camp.

Minot State Women's Basketball High School Team Camp - July 23
The Minot State women's basketball team is hosting a high school team camp on Sunday, July 23, for high school varsity teams, junior varsity teams, and club teams, from 8 am to 10 pm at the MSU Dome on the Minot State campus.
Cost is $285 per team.

We will do our best to schedule games based on the competition level and time preferences, but please do understand that some conflicts may arise. There will also be a "Crunch Time" Tournament – 2-minute games where a coin flip determines who starts with the ball and behind by 1 point, or who starts on defense and ahead by 1 point.

The Team Camp is also being paired with the Officials Certification Clinic meaning registered high school and college officials will work most of games.

Each team receives camp t-shirts.

Minot State Women's Basketball Elite Camp - August 4
The Minot State women's basketball team is hosting this camp on Friday, August 4, that is designed and tailored to athletes specifically looking to compete at the collegiate level. The camp will be from 10 am to 4 pm at the MSU Dome on the Minot State campus.
Cost is $50 per player.

The camp is open to girls entering 7th thru 12th grade in the fall of 2023, and instruction will be provided by the Minot State coaching staff on skill instruction, drills, position-specific breakdowns, and 5-on-5 play.

Lunch will be provided and each player will receive a camp t-shirt.
