Coach's Comments
"Well, it's always great to get the conference win," Minot State head coach Mike Brandt said of Friday's 62-60 victory over Sioux Falls. "Those are hard to come by, and it doesn't matter home or away, or who you're playing.
"(SMSU has) won eight or nine in a row," Brandt added of Southwest Minnesota State, the Beavers opponent Saturday. "I think they're playing their best basketball right now, which I think is the best of the conference right now. And they're really good three-point shooters; they're all the same, you can't focus on one or two players because all their starters averaged over 33-percent from three."
