Minot, N.D. – Minot State Basketball take a quick stop at home before heading back on the road. The Beavers are set to host Bemidji State University, Thursday, February 1^st, starting with Women's Basketball at 5:30 PM and Men's to follow right after at 7:30 PM. 
 
Minot State Women's Basketball are coming off a big road sweep this past weekend beating Augustana University in regulation 66-60 at the Stanford Pentagon. They followed up with another win at Wayne State University in overtime, 73-70. Sydney Gustavsson led the way for the lady Beavers averaging 19.0 points on 65.2 percent from the field. 
 
On the other hand, Minot State Men's Basketball was not able to get a road sweep but settled for a split. The Beavers took a tough loss to Augustana but was able to bounce back with a much needed win over a scrappy Wayne State team. 
 
On the Thursday, the women are looking to complete a season sweep over Bemidji State. Minot State won the first contest at Bemidji, 68-56, where the starters combined for 56 points. However, the men will look to end their losing streak over the Bemidji State Beavers at home. Last time out, Minot was led by senior guard, Khari Broadway with 17 points on the night. 
 
After a quick pit stop at home, both beavers are headed over to in-state rivals, University of Mary on Saturday, February 3^rd. Minot State Women look to bounce back from a close loss last time out at the MSU Dome (67-75). The men will look to complete yet another conference opponent sweep against UMary. The Beaver won the first matchup in a dominant performance with a victory of 88-65.
