MINOT, ND --The Minot State volleyball team could not out-play a potent Warriors offense Saturday at home falling to Winona State in straight sets (13-25, 11-25, 9-25).
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 1-12 overall and 0-6 in NSIC play.
Paulina Kowalska finished with five kills on the day to lead the Beavers attack. got 12 digs from Kelci Madrid to lead them defensively.

SET 1 | The Beavers found themselves in an early hole, losing a tough first set 25-13. Minot State trailed by as many as 12 points as Winona State never gave up the lead in a set that was notted up zero times before the Warriors took control.
SET 2 | Minot State fell in set two 25-11, digging a 2-0 deficit in the match. The Beavers fell behind on the first point and never clawed back into the lead before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Minot State was not able to win set three and was swept by Winona State. The Beavers lost a tough set 25-9. Minot State trailed by as many as 16 points as Winona State grabbed the advantage for good at 3-2 in a set that was knotted up three times before the Warriors took over the lead.
