Mankato, MN – In a thrilling NSIC semifinal match, Minot State advanced to the finals after a dramatic penalty shootout. The match ended 0-0 after 110 minutes of regulation and overtime.
 
Goalkeeper Siriana Gudino played a vital role in maintaining the clean sheet with 4 saves. Concordia-St. Paul was able to stop 11 shots from the Beavers 10 of which were on target. The Beavers were able to maintain constant pressure on Concordia as evidenced by the 5 corner kicks and 11 shots.
 
During the penalty showdown MSU remained calm and demonstrated their precision. Yossi Villagrana, Anna Miotto, Mia Lewis, Manuela Pacheco, and Sofia Galvez all successfully converted their shots, securing a 5-4 victory.
