ST. CLOUD, Minn. -- After a slow start, the Minot State volleyball team put in a scrappy effort but could not derail the 3rd-ranked Saint Cloud State Huskies, falling 25-5, 25-17, 25-20 on Saturday in NSIC action at Halenbeck Hall.
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 2-21 overall and 0-15 in NSIC play. The Beavers are back in action for a non-conference match at future NSIC foe Jamestown on Thursday night.
Faith Di Mola finished with five kills on the day to lead the Beavers attack. Minot State also got 10 digs from Di Mola to lead them defensively.

SET 3 | Minot State could not win the third set and was swept by Saint Cloud State. The Beavers came up short by the score of 25-20. Minot State trailed by as many as eight points as Saint Cloud State grabbed the advantage for good at 11-10 in a set that was tied up five times before the Huskies took over the lead.
