TOPEKA, Kan. -- The Minot State Beavers fell 4-3 in an eight-inning matchup to the Central Missouri Jennies on Saturday in non-conference play at the Washburn Invitational.
 

Senior Gabi Dawyduk (1-3) started and took the loss in the circle for Minot State. The right-hander went eight innings, giving up four runs, three earned, on nine hits, allowing no walks and striking out four.
 

In the batter's box, the Beavers were paced by junior Chesie McLaughlin, who went 1-for-2 on the day with a home run and an RBI.
