MINOT, N.D. – Minot State pitchers Reegan Floyd and Gabi Dawyduk dominated in the circle with a pair of shutout performances while Brooklyn Morrison stretched her hit streak to 12 straight games, going 4-for-6 at the plate in the Beavers sweep of visiting Southwest Minnesota State on Friday at "The Bubble."
"I think, honestly, sky's the limit for us," said Morrison as the Beavers have won six straight and share the NSIC lead with Concordia, St. Paul. "We have a lot of big expectations for each other and even for ourselves. So I think that's a big thing, just really pushing each other and just making each other better every single day.
"And like I said, the sky's the limit; and even higher than that."
Friday, Minot State slowly inched away for a 4-0 victory to start the day, then the offense rolled in a 10-0 win in five innings to close out the sweep as the Beavers improved to 11-7 overall and 6-0 in NSIC play.
The Beavers are back in action in another NSIC doubleheader as they host Minnesota State, Mankato (24-8, 4-2) at "The Bubble" with first pitch set for 11 a.m.

In the batter's box, the Beavers were paced by junior Abby Lohse, who went 3-for-3 on the day with a double and two RBI.
