Minot State draws Sioux Falls 1-1

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. -- Minot State and Sioux Falls played to a 1-1 draw Sunday (Oct. 26) on the road at Bob Young Field.

The tie moved Minot State's record to 6-5-4 overall and 6-2-4 in NSIC action.

How it Happened

Sioux Falls grabbed a 1-0 lead when Elizabeth Schmidt scored in the 74th minute, assisted by Abby Flanagan.

The Beavers responded to tie it on a goal from Sierra Haren -- her first goal of the season -- in the 85th minute. The goal closed the scoring in the match.
