MINOT, ND -- Minot State earned goals from captain Sierra Haren, and Sabrina Amezcua in a 2-0 shutout win against Minnesota Crookston Friday (Oct. 31) at home at Herb Parker Stadium.
The win improved Minot State's record to 7-5-4 overall and 7-2-4 in NSIC play.
How it Happened
Minot State grabbed a 1-0 lead when Amezcua scored her eighth goal of the season in the 21st minute.
The Beavers tacked on another score on a goal from Haren -- her second goal of the season -- in the 81st minute, assisted by Elsa Duquesne. Neither team tacked on another goal in the game.
