MARSHALL, MN --The Minot State volleyball team fell to the Southwest Minnesota State Mustangs in three sets (20-25, 12-25, 9-25) Saturday on the road at PE Gym.
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 3-27 overall and 1-19 in NSIC play.
Katelyn Onespot-Danforth finished with six kills on the day to lead the Beavers attack. Â 12 digs from Maya Vibeto to lead them defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Beavers found themselves in an early deficit, dropping the first set 25-20. Minot State trailed by as many as six points as Southwest Minnesota State grabbed the advantage for good at 13-12 in a set that was tied up nine times before the Mustangs took control.
SET 2 | Minot State then dropped the second set 25-12 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. The Beavers fell behind on the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before dropping the set.
SET 3 | Minot State was not able to win set three and was swept by Southwest Minnesota State. The Beavers dropped a tough set 25-9. Minot State trailed by as many as 16 points as Southwest Minnesota State grabbed the advantage for good at 2-1 in a set that was tied up just once before the Mustangs took over the lead.
