MINOT, ND -- Minot State put together a big 225-yard output on the ground, but fell 33-7 to Minnesota-Duluth Saturday afternoon at home at Herb Parker Stadium.
The Bulldogs improved to 10-1 on the year and 9-1 in Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play, while the Beavers fell to 3-8 overall and 3-7 in conference matchups.
Carson Chrisman led all Beavers rushers with 76 yards and one touchdown in the contest, picking up 4 yards per carry. Devan Daniels also added 45 yards on the ground, averaging 5 yards per carry.
Chrisman's most prolific target in the ballgame was Jonathan Noriega, who caught two passes for 21 yards.
Minot State had a powerful performance on the ground, gaining 225 rushing yards while averaging 4.8 yards per carry.
Defensively, Minot State held up fairly well against the Minnesota-Duluth passing attack, holding the Bulldogs to 122 yards through the air.
