The Minot State women's soccer team heads into the postseason with momentum after a dominant weekend sweep.
The Beavers opened last weekend with a 4-1 victory over Minnesota State Moorhead, powered by two goals from Anna Miotto and additional scores from Sabrina Amezcua and Iliana Rivera. Minot State followed that performance with a 2-1 win against the University of Mary, as Emerie Campbell and Brittney Egbert both found the net on headers.
With the pair of wins, the Beavers secured the No. 4 seed in the NSIC Tournament, earning home-field advantage for the opening round. This marks the first time Minot State will host a playoff game since October 31, 2022, when they defeated Northern State 3-0. Head coach Chris Logan earned the opportunity to host in his first season at Minot State.
The Beavers will host their NSIC quarterfinal match on Monday, November 10, at 5 p.m. at Herb Parker Stadium.
