MINOT, N.D. – Minot State's fall student-athletes combined to set a department record for academic achievement over the past four months, as the NSIC announced its 2025 NSIC Fall All-Academic Team.
The Beavers achieved an all-time high for fall sports – football, men's and women's cross country, women's soccer, and volleyball – as 46 student-athletes were named to the NSIC's Fall All-Academic Team or All-Academic Team of Excellence.
To be named to the NSIC All-Academic Team, a student-athlete must be an active member of their respective team, in at least their second season of competition with their respective Beaver team, and maintain at least a 3.20 cumulative GPA. To earn NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors, a student-athlete must maintain at least a 3.60 cumulative GPA.
The previous Minot State high for fall sports was 43 student-athletes honored for the fall semester of 2022.
Leading the way for the Beavers in academic honors this fall was the Minot State football team with 14 student-athletes earning All-Academic Team honors, which included 6 being named to the All-Academic Team of Excellence.
The Beaver cross-country program was next with 12 student-athletes being honored, 6 from the men's team and 6 from the women's team, with 7 of Minot State's distance runners being named to the All-Academic Team of Excellence.
The Minot State women's soccer team and volleyball team were next as each had 10 student-athletes named to the NSIC All-Academic Team, with 8 volleyball players being named to the All-Academic Team of Excellence and 4 soccer players earning All-Academic Team of Excellence honors.
Here are the Minot State student-athletes who earned NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence and NSIC All-Academic Team honors for the fall of 2025:
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors from the football team were: Conner Raetzman, a junior from Tucson, Arizona; Josh Will, a senior from Minot, North Dakota; Trevor Jungman, a senior from Escondido, California; Cody Grossinger, a junior from Buffalo, Minnesota; Tyler Stonebraker, a senior from Castle Rock, Colorado; and Aiden George, a sophomore from Winter Haven, Florida.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors from the football team were: Malachi Johnson, a sophomore from North Las Vegas, Nevada; Logan Matthews, a junior from Parker, Colorado; Marcus Council, a sophomore from Las Vegas, Nevada; Max Bray, a senior from Mesa, Arizona; Julian Kameristy, a senior from Long Grove, Illinois; Caleb Schmidt, a sophomore from Chaska, Minnesota; Cody Raetzman, a senior from Tucson, Arizona; and Brandon McCary, a sophomore from Wylie, Texas.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors from the men's cross-country team were: Camden Jasmin, a senior from Minot, North Dakota; Isaac Rathbun, a senior from Minot, North Dakota; and Nikita Neyshtadt, a senior from Minot, North Dakota.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors from the men's cross-country team were: Holter Bridwell, a junior from Bismarck, North Dakota; Zander Grover, a sophomore from Burlington, North Dakota; and Peyton Tuhy, a senior from Hettinger, North Dakota.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors from the women's cross-country team were: Natalie Becker, a sophomore from Minot, North Dakota; Emery Smith, a senior from Minot, North Dakota; Nicole Reeves, a senior from Anaheim, California; and Julie Folk, a sophomore from Minot, North Dakota.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors from the women's cross-country team were: Afton Wride, a sophomore from Columbia Falls, Montana; and Bailey Wride, a junior from Columbia Falls, Montana.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors from the women's soccer team were: Brittney Egbert, a junior from Wellsville, Utah; Anna Miotto, a sophomore from Riehen, Switzerland; Tereza Vrbanek, a sophomore from Caledon, Ontario; and Sierra Haren, a senior from Chandler, Arizona.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors from the women's soccer team were: Reese Pittman, a sophomore from El Cajon, California; Linnea Svenzén, a senior from Farjestadan, Sweden; Taylor Salsman, a sophomore from Modesto, California; Elsa Duquesne, a sophomore from Raimbeaucourt, France; Rebecca Sargent, a junior from Kensington, England; and Keilani Broadnax, a junior from Cincinnati, Ohio.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team of Excellence honors from the volleyball team were: Emily Willis, a junior from Union, Illinois; Sydney Upton, a junior from Minot, North Dakota; Olivia Murphy, a junior from Tulsa, Oklahoma; Paulina Kowalska, a senior from Wroclaw, Poland; Caton Pearcy, a junior from Dickinson, North Dakota; Logan Drennan, a sophomore from Commerce City, Colorado; Jaina Macaulay, a senior from Clarkston, Michigan; and Mia Thompson, a senior from West Point, Utah.
- Earning NSIC All-Academic Team honors from the volleyball team were: Haley Saunders, a junior from Oakland, Oregon; and Maya Vibeto, a sophomore from Minot, North Dakota.
