Junior Anthony Disantis (2-1) started and took the loss on the mound for Minot State (12-15 overall, 7-12 NSIC).

Riddle's two extra base hits were the highlight of a 2-for-4 day, and included two doubles and a walk. Senior Connor Hill put together a noteworthy performance at the plate as well, going 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Junior Oscar Pegg also chipped in for the Beavers, putting together two hits in five trips to the plate while adding two RBI.

Trailing 3-0, the Beavers first put runs on the board in the first inning. Minot State got an RBI single from Pegg, scoring Riddle from second base.

The Beavers deficit expanded to 10-1 before their offense got back on the scoreboard, cutting into that deficit in the fifth inning. The Minot State offense exploded for six runs, highlighted by a three-run home run off the bat of Hill and a two-run single from junior Noah Madas, which tightened the Mavericks lead to 10-7.
