MINOT, N.D. -- The Minot State Beavers got a strong performance out of senior Brent Riddle, who collected two extra-base hits in a 19-7 loss to the No. 4/8-ranked Minnesota State, Mankato Mavericks on Sunday in NSIC action at Corbett Field.

Junior Anthony Disantis (2-1) started and took the loss on the mound for Minot State (12-15 overall, 7-12 NSIC).

Riddle's two extra base hits were the highlight of a 2-for-4 day, and included two doubles and a walk. Senior Connor Hill put together a noteworthy performance at the plate as well, going 1-for-4 with a home run and three RBI. Junior Oscar Pegg also chipped in for the Beavers, putting together two hits in five trips to the plate while adding two RBI.

Trailing 3-0, the Beavers first put runs on the board in the first inning. Minot State got an RBI single from Pegg, scoring Riddle from second base.
