MINOT, N.D. – The Minot State cross country team is gearing up for another season of racing and announced its 2025 schedule today.

The Beaver men's and women's cross country teams hit the ground running the first weekend of September in Bismarck, North Dakota, racing against in-state rival the University of Mary at the Marauders Invitational at the McDowell Dam course on Friday, September 5.

That opening action kicks off a season featuring 6 race dates for the Beavers who will compete in four regular-season events before the NSIC Championships on October 24, hosted by Wayne State, then the NCAA Central Region Championships in Joplin, Missouri in early November.

After getting the season underway at the Marauders Invitational, the Beavers head to their lone meet out of state, the prestigious Roy Griak Invitational hosted by the University of Minnesota on Friday, September 19, at the Bolstad Golf Course in Falcon Heights, Minnesota.

Minot State is then back in North Dakota in October for back-to-back weekends of action, racing at the Jimmie Invitational hosted by the University of Jamestown at the Parkhurst Campground on Friday, October 3, then the Beavers are back at the McDowell Dam in Bismarck for the Marauders Open on October 10.

The postseason then begins on Friday, October 24, as the Beavers compete at the NSIC Championships hosted by Wayne State at the Wayne Country Club in Wayne, Nebraska.

Minot State then competes on Saturday, November 8, at the NCAA Central Region Championship at the Tom Rutledge Cross Country Course in Joplin, Missouri with the top individual teams and individual racers winning berths to the NCAA National Championships hosted in Kenosha, Wisconsin on Saturday, November 22.
