Minot State women's soccer wrapped up a two-game stretch last week with some strong individual performances. In the matchup against Regis, Brittney Egbert found the back of the net to put the Beavers on the board. Against Concordia–St. Paul, goalkeeper Rebecca Sargent stood tall between the posts, recording eight saves while facing 17 total shots.
This week, the Beavers hit the road once again for their third straight pre-conference contest. Minot State travels to take on Montana State Billings on Saturday, looking to build momentum and carry last week's efforts into another competitive matchup.
"One thing we took away from this past weekend is the important of applying concepts from drills and practice into the game," said captain Sierra Haren. "That's where we found the most success. We're also using these early games as lessons to identify where we can improve as we head into our third pre-conference matchup."
