MANKATO, MN --The Minot State volleyball team could not overcome an opposing Mavericks offense Saturday on the road losing to Minnesota State in three sets (17-25, 21-25, 12-25).
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 1-9 overall and 0-2 in NSIC action.
Katelyn Onespot-Danforth finished with nine kills on the day to lead the Beavers offense while finishing with a hitting percentage of .533. Â 6 digs from Logan Drennan to lead them defensively.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Beavers found themselves in an early deficit, losing a tough first set 25-17. Minot State trailed by as many as eight points as Minnesota State grabbed the advantage for good at 15-14 in a set that was notted up six times before the Mavericks took over in the second half of the stanza.
SET 2 | Minot State fell in the second set 25-21, digging a 2-0 hole in the match. The Beavers lost set two despite a solid performance on the attacking side. Minot State registered a .419 attack percentage with 15 kills in the set loss.
SET 3 | Minot State was not able to win set three. The Beavers lost the first point and never clawed back into the lead before losing the set 25-12.
