WINONA, Minn. -- Minot State took control in a 4-1 victory against Winona State Sunday (Sept. 28) on the road at Altra Federal Credit Union Stadium.
Minot State improved to 2-4-1 overall and 2-1-1 in NSIC action following the victory.

Minot State broke the 0-0 tie when Giselle Nash notched her first goal of the season in the fourth minute, assisted by Anna Miotto.
The Beavers increased their lead to 2-0 on a goal from Emerie Campbell -- her first goal of the season -- in the eighth minute, assisted by Sierra Haren.
Minot State went up 3-0 on Brittney Egbert's 19th-minute goal, her second of the season.
The Beavers went on top 4-0 with a 57th-minute goal from Miotto, her third goal of the season.
Winona State got on the scoreboard on Olivia Cyr's goal in the 78th minute, assisted by Jacey Sturek. The goal closed the 4-1 game.
