MINOT, ND --The Minot State volleyball team fell to the Minnesota State-Moorhead Dragons in four sets (21-25, 27-25, 22-25, 15-25) Saturday at home at MSU Dome.
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 5-22 overall and 1-17 in NSIC action.
Emily Willis finished with 10 kills on the day to lead the Beavers attack. Defensively, had six players reach double figures in digs, highlighted by Maya Vibeto's 29, 18 from Haley Saunders, and 16 more from Zoe Zarr. From the front row, Kiera Hayes contributed seven blocks.

SET 1 | The Beavers found themselves in an early hole, losing the first set 25-21. Minot State trailed by as many as nine points as Minnesota State-Moorhead never surrendered the lead in a set that was knotted up zero times before the Dragons took control.
SET 2 | Minot State responded to pick up a 27-25 victory in set two, evening the match at one set apiece. The Beavers came out on top of a tight second set, winning in a stanza that was tied eight times and had six lead changes.
SET 3 | Minnesota State-Moorhead responded to win set number three, putting Minot State in a two sets to one hole. The Beavers came up short by the score of 25-22. Minnesota State-Moorhead grabbed the advantage for good at 3-2 in a set that was tied up five times before the Dragons took over the lead.
SET 4 | Minot State then fell in the fourth set 25-15 to finish off the match. The Beavers lost the first point and fought from behind the rest of the way before losing the set.
