MINOT, N.D. – Minot State men's hockey coach
Wyatt Waselenchuk announced this week that after two seasons as a member of the Midwest College Hockey (MCH) conference, the Beavers will be parting ways with the league and returning to independent status in the ACHA.
"We are grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the MCH," Coach Waselenchuk said. "Over the past two seasons, the MCH allowed us to create new rivalries and strengthen old ones, and the experience of winning two MCH Championships is one our players will never forget."
The Beavers return to play as an independent team starting in the fall of 2026, allowing Minot State more flexibility in scheduling opponents.
