Raivyn Millions of Minot State University earned the NSIC Elite 18 Award for softball. Millions was presented the award prior to the Beaver's opening round game in theÂ
NSIC Softball Tournament, which is taking place Wednesday-Saturday at the Bowden Field in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. Â
As part of the NSIC 25th Anniversary celebration during the 2016-17 academic year, the NSIC Elite 18 Award was instituted to recognize the true essence of the student-athlete by honoring the individual who has reached the pinnacle of competition at the NSIC Championship level in his or her sport, while also achieving the highest academic standard among his or her peers. The NSIC Elite 18 award is presented to the student-athlete with the highest cumulative grade-point average participating at the finals site for each of the NSIC's 18 Championships.
Millions is a senior majoring in nursing and holds a 4.00 grade point average. The Bienfait, Saskatchewan native and graduate of Oxbow Prairie Horizons School has started all 44 games during the 2026 season while hitting .331 with 40 hits, nine doubles and 14 RBIs, posting a .409 on-base percentage. Over her Minot State career, she has played in 53 games with a .303 batting average and 44 hits, while also contributing defensively with a perfect fielding percentage during the 2025 season. Prior to joining Minot State, Millions earned NJCAA Second Team All-America honors in 2024 after hitting .403 with 14 home runs and 72 RBIs at Spoon River. She has also excelled academically, earning Minot State President's List honors.
