The Minot State volleyball team opens Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference play this weekend with a pair of home matches at the MSU Dome.
The Beavers begin their NSIC schedule on Friday, Sept. 11, at 6 p.m. against Bemidji State in the Battle of the Beavers before hosting Minnesota Duluth on Saturday, Sept. 12, at 2 p.m.
Friday's match up marks the latest meeting between Minot State and Bemidji State, two programs that have faced each other regularly since the Beavers joined the NSIC. Bemidji State holds the advantage in the all-time series and has won the last eight meetings dating back to 2019. Minot State will look to change that history when the two Beaver programs meet in the conference opener.
Minot State continues its opening weekend of NSIC play Saturday against Minnesota Duluth. The Bulldogs have been one of the NSIC's most successful volleyball programs and have held the advantage in recent meetings with the Beavers, including a 3-0 win in 2025.
The Beavers will play both matches at home as they begin conference competition in the MSU Dome.
