MINOT, ND -- Minot State got goals from Adriana Gonzalez and Iliana Rivera in a 2-0 shutout victory against Winona State Friday (Sept. 18) at home at Herb Parker Stadium.
Minot State improved to 2-4-0 overall and 1-2-0 in NSIC action following the win.
How it Happened
Minot State broke the 0-0 tie when Gonzalez notched her first collegiate goal in the 24th minute, assisted by Jayva McKibben and Anahyssa Nash.
The Beavers went up 2-0 on a goal from Rivera -- her first goal of the season -- in the 78th minute, assisted by Elena Pacheco. The goal finished off the scoring in the game.
