BISMARCK, ND --The Minot State volleyball team fell to the Mary Marauders in three sets (22-25, 17-25, 26-28) Thursday on the road at McDowell Activity Center.
The loss dropped Minot State's record to 3-10 overall and 0-5 in NSIC action.
Katelyn Onespot-Danforth finished with 10 kills on the day to lead the Beavers attack. Defensively, had two players reach double figures in digs as Maya Vibeto had 19 and Caton Pearcy had 12.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Beavers couldn't hang on in a back-and-forth first set, losing 25-22 in a game that featured six lead changes and was tied 10 times. Neither team led by more than three points in the match.
SET 2 | Minot State then dropped the second set 25-17 to fall behind in the match two sets to none. Minot State trailed by as many as eight points as Mary grabbed the advantage for good at 4-3 in a set that was knotted up three times before the Marauders took over the lead.
SET 3 | Minot State could not win set three and was swept by Mary. The Beavers couldn't endure a ferocious Mary rally, falling 28-26 after leading by seven points at 9-2 earlier in the set.
