Biography

2015: Started in all 11 games in final season... Caught 41 passes for 639 yards scoring six touchdowns to lead the team in all three statistical categories... Added 13 rushing yards, 63 punt return yards and 640 kick return yards for a total of 1,355 all-purpose yards, ranking fourth in the NSIC... Named to the NSIC North Division All-Conference Team... Participated in the DII-NAIA Challenge. 

2014: Appeared in 10 games in third season with the Beavers... Finished season with 37 receptions for 392 yards and 3 touchdowns.. Recorded season-high 87 yards against St. Cloud State (11/7) bringing in one touchdown as well.

2013: Played in all 11 games for Minot State in his sophomore season... Caught 40 passes for 534 yards and three touchdowns... Recorded a season high 91 yards against Winona State (9/28) in the fourth game of the season.

2012: Appeared in 10 games at wide receiver for Minot State... Caught 39 passes for 588 yards and five touchdowns as a redshirt freshman... Had a breakout game against Upper Iowa (9/22) with 11 catches and 199 yards and two touchdowns.

2011: Redshirted.

High School: Played football, basketball and participated in track & field at Roy (Mont.) High School.

Personal: Son of Darcy and Dustin Sturm… Member of the Minot State University Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC)... Majoring in Athletic Training.
