2015: Started in all 11 games for Minot State in final season... Recorded 99 tackles on the year including 8.5 tackles for a loss and 3.5 sacks... Ranked fifth in the NSIC in tackles per game (9.0)... Named to the NSIC North Division All-Conference Team... Participated in the Dream Bowl. 

2014: Played in all 11 games for the Beavers... Recorded second most tackles on team with 85 tackles and 11 tackles for a loss... Added 2.5 sacks and two interceptions and three forced fumbles on the year... Ranked 19th in NSIC in tackles per game (7.7)... Named to All-NSIC North honorable mention team. 

2013: Finished with 17 tackles, including one for a loss, in nine games as a sophomore. Had a season-high four tackles in the season opener at Concordia-St. Paul (9/7)... Made at least one stop in all nine games.

Pre-Minot State: Redshirted during his first season at University of Central Oklahoma... Recorded 20 tackles during his redshirt freshman season.

High School: Played football at Douglass High School... Named 4A Linebacker of the Year during his senior season... Totaled 140 tackles, four sacks and three interceptions while leading his team to a Oklahoma State Runner-Up finish.

Personal: Son of of Kathy and Kerwin James... Majoring in Education.
