2016: Played in 26 games, making 21 starts while starting 10 games as a pitcher... Led the team in the following categories: wins (3), innings pitched (56) and batters struck out (43)... Had a batting average of .238... Recorded seven runs, seven RBIs, one double and two home runs on 10 hits. 

2015: Played in 38 games, making 37 starts for Minot State... Made 10 starts as a pitcher, winning two games... Struck out a team-high 46 batters... Had a .322 batting average... Scored 14 runs, batting in another 20.

2014: Appeared in 16 games for the Beavers... Made eight starts on the mound, collecting a 3-4 overall record... Pitched 42 innings only walking nine while striking out 31 batters... Made five starts in the lineup, going 2-for-13 (.154)... Was named NSIC Pitcher of the Week (2/25) after a stellar performance on the mound against Wayne State, pitching a complete game shutout with a career high eight strikeouts.

2013: Appeared on the mound in six games for Minot State as a true freshman... Made three starts for the Beavers, picking up a 2-0 overall record... Pitched 23.0 innings giving up 25 hits and picking up 15 strikeouts... Pitched seven innings while allowing just five hits to Augustana College (4/25).

High School: Played baseball at Minot High School... Named All-State and All-Conference senior year.

Personal: Son of David and Brenda Bernston... Majoring in Criminal Justice.
