MSU Athletics

2010: Played in all 10 games for the Beavers, rushed 74 times for 330 yards... Ran for a season high 134 yards against Dakota State (10/9) on 16 carries... Scored four touchdowns, two against Mayville State (9/18) and two aginst Dakota State (10/9).

2009: Had a stellar true freshman season for the Beavers, palying in 10 games and rushing for 827 yards on 156 attempts... Led the team in rushing per game with a 73.6 average ... Named to the All-Dakota Athletic Conference second team running back... Caught nine passes for 90 yards... Spent most of the season as the Beavers starting punter, averaging 35.7 yards per kick with a long of 57 yards... Was named DAC Offensive Player of the Week with a breakout performance against Valley City State, rushing for 206 yards and two touchdowns (9/19)... Followed that up with a 111-yard, one touchdown performance against Jametown College (10/3)... Was ranked 29th in rushing yards per game in the NAIA.

High School: Played football and baseball for Gig Harbor High School.

Personal: Son of Marie and Marty Youngren... Majoring in English.
