2019 Season (Senior): Earned President's Honor Roll • Played in 11 games • Caught 42 passes for 562 yards and four touchdowns • Averaged 3.8 yards per catch and 51.1 yards per game • Recorded a long of 40 yards at University of Mary on Sep. 21, gaining season-high 109 yards on seven receptions with one touchdown in the game • Caught seven passes and gained 100 yards with one touchdown against Southwest Minnesota State on Oct. 5 with a long of 33 yards. 

2018 Season (Junior): Earned All-NSIC North Division Honorable Mention • played in all 11 games • was MSU's leading receiver with 578 yards and eight touchdowns on 47 targets • averaged 12.3 yards per catch and 52.6 yards per game • had 10 carries for 81 yards • returned one punt for 16 yards • attempted one pass • season-high yardage came vs. St. Cloud State (11/3) when Bushnell caught six passes for 89 yards • scored two receiving TDs against Minnesota-Crookston (9/22) and at Minnesota State (10/13) • caught eight passes at Northern State (9/6).

2017 Season (Sophomore): Earned All-NSIC North Division Honorable Mention • appeared in all 11 games • led the Beavers with 38 receptions, 427 receiving yards and five touchdown receptions • averaged 11.2 yards per catch with a long of 33 yards • finished fourth on the team with 452 all-purpose yards • caught a season-high seven passes at Minnesota Crookston (10/28) • grabbed a pair of touchdown receptions against Augustana (9/9) • finished with five catches for 86 yards and two touchdowns against the Vikings • also caught five passes at Minnesota Duluth (10/21).

2016 Season (First Year): Competed in all 11 games as a freshman • caught 32 passes for 363 yards and one touchdown • returned 12 kicks for 197 yards and five punts for 31 yards • had a season-high 68 receiving yards against MSU Moorhead (10/29).

High School:
Attended AA Stagg High School • was named team Most Valuable Player • named his team's Offensive Player of the Year • earned All-League honors • also participated in track & field.
