2010: Medical Redshirt.

2009: Finished a stellar season with 32 total tackles (12 solo, 20 assists) and 8.5 tackles-for-a-loss... Ended the season with three sacks and a fumble recovery... Earned first-team All-Dakota Athletic Conference defensive line honors... Ranked No. 50 in the country in forced fumbles per game at 0.200... Had a season-high five tackles three times (Bemidji State, 8/27; Valley City State, 9/19; Black Hills State, 10/17)... Had five tackles, two tackles-for-a-loss and a .5 sacks against Valley City State (9/19)... Needs two sacks to get into double digits for career (8 entering season).  

2008: Played in eight games, making 19 tackles and three sacks... Finished the season with one pass breakup.

2007: Played in six games a true freshman, making 14 tackles and finishing with two sacks.

High School: Earned first-team All Conference and third-team All County honors for Forest Hill High School... Played football, weighlifting, wrestling and track and field in high school.

Personal: Son of Mireille and Joseph Gesner... Majoring in MIS.
