High School:  Was a five year standout for wrestling powerhouse Bismarck High School... Finished either first or second in each of his five state tournaments, helping BHS to four dual team championships and four team individual champs...  Went 44-2 in his senior campaign with 27 pins and a state title... Finished with 194-36 record and left Bismarck High as the teams career leader in falls with 119 pins.
