2010: Played in ning games for MSU finishing with 36 stops (14 solo, 22 assists)... Recorded one sack as part of his four tackles behind the line of scrimmage... Returned 10 kickoffs during the course of the season with a long of 51 against Concrdia-St. Paul (9/4)... Had a season high seven tackles against Mayville State (9/18).

2009: Played in all 10 games for the Beavers ... Finished the season as the Beavrs fourth leading tackler with 48 total (19 solo, 29 assist) ... Recorded a career high nine tackles and intercepted his first collegiate pass against Jamestown College (9/26) ... Followed that game up with an eight-tackle, two tackle-for-loss, one sack performance against Dakota State (10/3).

2008: Redshirted.

High School: Was a two-time first-team All-State performer for Hazen High School... Also played basketball and track and field for the Bison... Finished with eight North Dakota Class B State Track and Field Championships, winning the 100, 200 and 400-meter dashes in his senior season.

Personal: Son of Donna and Chris Sorensen... Brother Brent is a freshman wide receiver on the Beavers football roster... Majoring in Corporate Fitness.
