Andrew Torgerson makes the transition from player to coach at Minot State University for 2014 as he begins his first season as a student assistant coach.
Togerson played four season and has been on the roster for five years at multiple positions for the Beavers. He began his career as a quarterback, starting the final game of the 2010 season, completing 10 of 11 passes for 139 yards and two TDs. He played both QB and tight end during his final three seasons as he battled injuries.
A former three-sport athlete from Colstrip, Mont., Togerson is completing his degree in math education at Minot State.
