John Leib is in his second season as a member of the Minot State coaching staff as a Graduate Assistant Coach.

Leib assists in both offensive and defensive lines for the Beavers and assists with recuiting, scouting and gameplanning.

Leib comes to the Beavers after spending the 2012 season with Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey. While at FDU, Leib coached the defensive line and led the team to nine sacks on the year.

Prior to FDU, Leib spent time at Bergenfield High School where he was the defensive line coach for the varsity, junior varsity and freshmen teams.  Prior to that, he served as an assistant varsity coach and head junior varsity coach at Hudson Catholic High School.

A 2010 graduate of Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Daytona Beach, Florida, Leib has a Bachelor of Aeronautical Science with a minor in Air Traffic Control.

Leib is currently pursuing his Masters Degree from Minot State University.
