Marty Rodgers joins the Minot State coaching staff for his first season as an Assistant Coach in 2013.

Rodgers will oversee the defensive backfield for the Beavers.

Prior to joining the MISU staff, he played and coached at Southern Illinois under former University of Minnesota Duluth and University of North Dakota coach Kyle Schweigert, an area leader in the 3-4 defense Minot State plays.

As a player at SIU, Rodgers earned All-Missouri Valley Conference honors after both his junior and senior seasons.

Rodgers is a Webb City, Mo. native and currently resdies in Minot.
